In some countries the percentages are even higher. In the United States alone, a woman is abused every 15 seconds. Whether sold into sexual slavery, raped in battle zones, or beaten by a boy- friend or spouse— women the world over are at risk of some form of violence.

How many women are affected by the violence you’re seeking to stop?
